For The Film Experience, I took part in this week’s edition of “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” in which you pick your favorite shot from a chosen film. This edition covers Robert Zemeckis’ 1984 adventure-comedy Romancing the Stone.

The film is a fun time that relies completely on the charisma and chemistry of the star pairing of Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas. In the midst of all the car chases and calamity, the pair finds a moment to relax with the Columbian landscape behind them. It’s a rare moment for the audience to take in the scenery and allow the main pair to relax as well. Not to mention, it’s wonderfully scenic.
